Duties/Pligte
- Delivering or teaching assigned development finance modules and related modules within other postgraduate programmes in the Business School.
- Collaborating with staff to create and deliver a transformative learning experience for students in development finance and generally for students at the Business School.
- Publishing and disseminating research in internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals, high-impact books, and cases.
- Through teaching and research. promoting the social impact of Stellenbosch Business School.
- Supervising postgraduate research at master's and PhD-levels.
- Actively engaging and participating in Stellenbosch University's activities and Business School life.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes

**(For appointment as a Senior Lecturer)**:

- A PhD in the field of development finance, finance, or economics awarded by a recognised university.
- Experience in the design and development of module content.
- Established record of research, or publication in nationally and internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals.
- Successfully completed postgraduate supervision.
- Good organisational and personal management skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to creating impact through research and scholarship.

**(For appointment as an Associate Professor)**:

- PhD in the field of development finance, finance, or economics awarded by a recognised university.
- National and international recognition as a researcher.
- A sustained record of research and research publications in nationally and internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals.
- A record of past research and a future research agenda relevant to development finance;
- Supervision and examination at PhD and master's levels.
- Teaching and the scholarship of teaching relevant to development finance, with evidence of, or potential for academic leadership of postgraduate programmes.
- Commitment to creating impact through research and scholarship.
- Academic management and leadership skills.
- Quantitative and qualitative evidence of teaching experience.
- Good organisational and personal management skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Evidence of commitment to creating impact through research and scholarship.

Recommendation/Aanbeveling
