**Job Advert Summary**:
Rand Water is currently looking for the Fleet Supervisor to supervise the day-to-day activities of the Heavy vehicle drivers, Construction plant
operators, Driver Aids, Gang overseer and Steam cleaner in full compliance of Rand Water policies and procedures and to ensure an effective availability of vehicles and plant items as well as loyal and well-motivated staff in order to ensure that our customer needs are met to their satisfaction.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Code EC driver’s license
- 2 years’ relevant experience in a fleet environment.
- 2 years relevant supervisory experience
- Relevant experience in a Transport Environment

**Primary Duties**:

- Establish, monitor and maintain a quality transport service
- Initiate follow up and corrective action regarding vehicle/plant damage/losses
- Charge-out system correctly & effectively applied
- Provide a full spectrum of fleet management and management service for Rand Water vehicles
- Train and coach staff constantly
- Fleet control management
- Economical vehicle maintenance
- Motivate budget requirements and needs
- Ensure compliance with the financial regulations and standards of Rand Water
- Ensure correct allocation of network numbers and budget
- Comprehensive reports and advice (Technical, managerial and strategic)

**Knowledge**:

- Working knowledge of the Road Traffic Act/Legislation and AARTO
- Working knowledge of SHEQ (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001)
- Computer literacy (Microsoft office package, Maximo & SAP)

**Skills**:

- Communication skills (Verbal and Written).
- Administrative skills - Office duties, documentation, filling etc.
- Problem solving skills.
