Our client in Stellenbosch is looking to appoint at Infrastructure / IT Technician.

This position will be function as the first level contact to diagnose, repair, maintain and support all hardware and software infrastructure components. The objective would be to ensure the smooth running and highest level of functionality of all Information Systems and Technology systems within the organisation.

**Skills and Experience**:
Appropriate technical certification

Appropriate formal qualification will be an advantages

Ability to prove / describes

Proven track record in the support of the technology infrastructure of medium to large organizations

Proven track record in the support and setup of the Office 365 product family and services

Proven track record in the support and setup of Microsoft Server (virtual) environment

Initiative, must be able to work independently, must be able to work under pressure

Be up to date with technology trends

Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and other stakeholders

**Responsibilities**:
Install, manage and support end-user computers and connections to necessary peripheral devices? such as printers

Provide monitoring and preventative support for Network infrastructure

Perform health and capacity management on all technology architecture aspects

Implementation and monitor end user device security and policies

User level access control

Passwords policy adherence

Monitor server infrastructure security and policies

Perform user education on best practice for information use and security

Contribute to drive IS&T environment forward

Identify new processes and / or solutions that combines innovation and best practice in all enterprise architecture elements in the business
