International client has an opportunity for a IT Technician to join their team in Technopark, Stellenbosch asap. My client is a fast-growing Saastech company specialising in group booking solutions, air shopping and ticketing systems for airlines.

The main purpose of this role will be to provide technical support to maintain the organizations computer systems, both hardware and software and other peripheral equipment to ensure optimal performance so that end users can maintain a high level of productivity.
Duties will include but not limited to:

- Provide 1st line technical assistance with computer hardware and software
- Resolve issues for staff via phone as well as Microsoft Teams
- Perform hardware and software installations, configurations and updates when required
- Maintain local Active Directory and DNS
- Management and support of the IT infrastructure, Servers, Desktops and Laptops
- Management of the monthly Microsoft patch management for systems based overseas

Currently residing in the Western Cape (essential)
A minimum of 2 years in a similar role
Excellent people skills
Detailed knowledge of networking topologies and technologies, including appliances such as firewalls, routers, switches and load balancers
