Our client is a an emerging market **mobile operator** at the forefront of technological and digital changes. As a Telco based in South Africa with a global footprint, our client prides itself on** **innovation**,** **diversity** and taking **Cyber Security seriously**. The company is trying to get ahead of the trend and staff up an entirely new team within their Cyber Security department.

Our client is looking for a **Senior Specialist in Cyber Threat Intelligence & Hunting**, you will work within the threat landscape doing assessments and monitoring fake apps, phishing sites, information leakage, etc. You will do malware analysis and be responsible for the detection and isolation of advanced threats.

**What you will be doing**:

- Draft CTI input
- Integrate and monitor business plans for CTI in accordance with frameworks
- You will assist in driving the strategic alignment of the Group CTI ops and in-country CTI services
- You will ensure that plans, policies and procedures for CTI are effective
- You will execute the reversing of technical malware
- You will identify possible threats by analysing information within the environment
- Perform audits of different platforms and draft reports
- Prepare intelligence based on IR, threat hunting, soc and red team inputs
- Provide case support to digital forensics investigations
- You will improve and optimize processes and efficiency
- You will ensure reporting requirements are up to standard and includes accurate information

**What we are looking for in you**:

- You have the CTIA and/or OSCP certification
- You have experience in OSINT
- You have 5 years experience working in CTI
- In depth knowledge of Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux
- In depth knowledge of scripting as well as networking
- You have experience in investigating and validating IoCs
- You have experience in executing relevant analyses of phishing, cybersquatting and other fraud related cases
- You are willing to travel within Africa and the Middle East
- You have experience working in the Telco industry
