**Junior to Mid-level content creator/Social media**

Travel Tractions and The Marketing Mill are looking for a Junior to Mid **social media content creator and a content writer** in one gloriously talented individual.

The financial incentives will start at R1k and can work up to R18k per month depending on your effort and time put in (performance-based wages, not set salary, so potential to earn well for awesome performance), with employment and freelance positions available after the internship.

**What we look for**:

- Strong creative writing ability with a good grasp of English, grammar and spelling (this will be tested).
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
- **At least two years of proven social media management, content creation, and paid social media.**:

- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO (advantageous)
- A degree/diploma in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations.
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
- Having your own blog or links to previous work is very advantageous
- Will follow instructions/requirements fully.
- Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
- Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability.

**Your typical duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company's social content.
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
- Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
- Content creation, Copywriting, Editing, Proofreading.

**Salary**: R1,000.00 - R18,000.00 per month
