Developing, implementing, and leading the “future state” for Global Supply Chain Network strategy (transportation, distribution, warehousing, etc.).
- Service as a business expert to drive innovation and connectivity in pursuit of supply chain planning and execution excellence.
- Identify cost savings opportunities, lead business improvements and establish client service strategies.
- Content/Stream Leadership in Supply Chain - IP Owner of the AECI Group Supply Chain systems and system requirements.
- Manage Change Requests as the Supply Chain - Lead in the Systems Design Authority Produces and coordinates the yearly Supply Chain action plan and longer term Supply Chain roadmap, prepares reports for monthly update of same to Group Services Meetings.
- Plan to deliver process mapping and improvement.
- Continuously research on best practices in SAP and other IT systems and advise the Business Managers.
- Manage vendor contracts in the area of AMS (maintenance of ERP systems).
- Manage vendor contracts for large project management and key initiatives.
- Comply with governance & compliance policies and procedures.
- Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards.
- Establish continuous support program, monitor improvement.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Matric / Grade 12.
- S. Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Engineering or related. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in optimization, logistics, distribution/warehousing, manufacturing operations to include supervisory experience.
- SAP ERP certification (SAP K5+ or equivalent).
- Corporate Serialisation, S&OP, Demand Mgt/Forecasting & MRP, Distr./Fleet Planning and Optimising/Transport Mgt experience on SAP.
- Understanding of SAP Activate methodology.
- SAP S/4HANA experience advantage.
- Understanding of business processes and how they are related to an ERP system.
- Ability to advise the business on best practice in the SAP Plan to deliver modules while making sure the solution meets the business needs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office package skills.
