**Responsibilities**:

- **Employee Investigation and prosecution**
- Investigate misconduct related matters within the company.
- Act as initiator on behalf of management in senior disciplinary processes.
- Act as facilitator on behalf of management in senior grievance meetings.
- Act as facilitator on behalf of management in senior incapacity matters.
- Act as facilitator on behalf of management in performance enhancement related matters.
- Assist in mediation of dispute matters where needed.
- Assist branch manager in disciplinary, grievance and incapacity processes, meetings and matters relating to branch employees on junior level.
- Provide oversight on active internal audit or forensic investigations within the company.
- Direct and guide internal audit or forensic on misconduct related investigations within the group.
- Fair and consistent implementation of discipline within the company.
- Scan the environment and identify necessary policy and practice developments.
- Testify in CCMA, arbitration or relevant hearings/dispute resolution meetings as required by the Human Resource department.
- Report on al completed processes to the Executive Management team.
- **Management insights**
- Facilitate the implementation of employee/ management meetings.
- Ensure Employee forums are actively done and reported on.
- Identify issues or shortcomings from employee forums and implement corrective steps.
- Consult and advise management and employees with regards to legislation, policies, procedures, and best practice in co-ordination with the Human Resources department.
- Attend and/or facilitate internal departmental meetings when required.
- Responsible for the implementation, and promotion of employee relation strategies.
- Actively participate in internal structures and provide advice to management on emerging issues and needed policy changes.
- Provide support to management and employees managing performance and assist in the analysis of plans to resolve any identified performance problems.
- Provide advice to area managers in respect of procedural and substantive fairness issues.
- Report on all aspects to the Executive Management team.
- **Branch Investigations**
- Perform branch investigations as requested by the Executive management.
- Complete branch investigation checklists.
- Report on branch investigations to the relevant executive management member responsible for the discipline shortcomings are identified.
- Propose solutions for shortcomings identified.
- Perform a follow-up inspection and document the improvement or further interventions required.
- Ensure all interventions are implemented and completed.
- Training
- Assist in new job profiles.
- Assist in determining the optimal employee structure, job profiles, and staff compliments.
- Oversee incubation training programs per job description.
- Ensure the incubation program is continuously improved to include all relevant training requirements of products, systems, processes, and compliance.
- Liaise with the finance department to obtain relevant training material on systems, processes, and compliance.
- Monthly reporting on completed training and budget utilisation to the Managing Director and Finance Director.
- Ensure cost-effective measures are implemented to complete training.
- Perform Branch inspections and gap analysis on training concerns in the branches.
- Develop and implement a branch-specific practical training schedule based on the gap analysis.
- Communicate the expected corrective measures with the branch manager and relevant employees.
- Complete the practical training and sign off on the corrective measures implemented.
- Perform a follow-up inspection and document the improvement or further interventions required.
- Ensure all interventions are implemented and completed.
- Budget for the training program per year.
- Report progress against budget.
- Determine the training program for the financial year and include all aspects of training including compliance, compulsory training, new employment training, refresher courses, succession planning training, executive training, bursaries, etc.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and ensure all training is recorded on the LMS system.
- Report monthly on training.
- **Requirements**:

- 5 years’ or more experience within Industrial Relations Management, investigations.
- Relevant Bcom degree
