**Purpose of the job**:Responsible for the profitable availability of the Premier range and management of a team of staff to ensure achievement of sales targets.
**Key performance areas**:
- To increase marginal contribution
- To sell the whole range
- To sell at the correct R per ton and grow volumes
- Grow relationships
- Increase profitable availability
- Trade intelligence without collusion
- Identify any sales opportunities
- Increase customer base
- To have blue ribbon bread in every available outlet in focus regions
- Shelf health
- Point of purchase excellence
- Correct order at the correct time (stock management)
- Manage expenses
- Management of returns and RSPs
- Drive and manage volumes for designated areas
- Ensure channel cycle activity is implemented and targets achieved
- Provide original market information
- Implement company’s URO
- To be the preferred supplier
- Effective administration
- Effective calling cycles
**Qualification Requirements**:
- Relevant qualification relating to Sales and Marketing Management.
**Experience Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a FMCG Managerial position
- Experience in terms of HR and IR management - first formal discipline
- Key accounting experience
**Key Outputs**:
**Other Requirements**:
- Need to balance office and trade
- Relationship building is imperative
- Flexibility in terms of relevant client universe/ location
