Our client is currently seeking an experienced Manager: Strategic Sourcing Compliance based in Pretoria.

The main function of this role is to develop implement and manage all strategic sourcing activities, reporting and strategies on behalf of the client including the acquiring of resources and services in line with the relevant statutory guidelines and other relevant requirements

**Duties and responsibilities**

**Operational Management**
- Contribute to the development of a strategy for the division
- Manage the business unit and ensure that it contributes to the achievement of business objectives
- Manage operations effectively
- Identify and prioritisesupply chain management Project complete and submit plans
- Develop, maintain and Report quarterly on demand plan for the group

**Functional Management**
- Manager maintain the request for quotation and tender register
- Perform strategic commodity analysis to inform key business decisions
- Assess and compare budget requirements for SCM
- Ensure TCOreductions and targets are secured

**Risk and Compliance management**
- Ensure the mitigation of risk support
- provide evidence to all internal and external audits
- Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory environment
- Oversee the maintenance and enforcement of related SLA to minimise risk

**Financial Management**
- Provide input in the planning and compilation of the annual budget
- Ensure the effective implementation, management, monitoring of the business units budget and mitigate and report on any variances

**People Management**
- Manage Direct reports
- Maintain excellent human capital performance

**Stakeholder Management**
- Manage and resolve operational complaints
- Identify and mitigate internal systems and procedural barriers to enhance excellent customer service

**Minimum Requirements**
- Diploma + Advanced Diploma OR B.degree in purchasing supply chain management or related field
- Registration as member of CIPS preferred
- 10 years relevant work experience in supply chain management
- 3 years management experience
- Proven track record in managing multiple high impact high value initiatives concurrently
