To develop, implement and manage all strategic sourcing activities, reporting and strategies on behalf of the company including the acquiring of resources and services in line with relevant statutory guidelines and other relevant requirements

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Operational Management
- Contribute towards the development of a strategy for the Division and ensure alignment of this strategy with the plan for the Strategic Sourcing business unit overall
- Ensure productivity is measured effectively against set objectives
- Manage and ensure the drive of continuous improvement activities within area of responsibility
- Manage operations effectively to deliver services within timelines and prescribed quality through effective resource management

Functional Management
- Identify and prioritize Supply Chain Management projects within area of control
- Lead cross-functional sourcing teams in the various Supply Chain Management processes
- Manage and maintain the request for quotation and tender register
- Perform strategic commodity analysis to inform key business decisions
- Maintain an acceptable turnaround time in line with established SLAs for business unit Supply Chain Management requests including RFI, RFQ and RFP within sphere of control
- Interact with the business and provide credible commercial Supply Chain Management Sourcing advice to the various business units
- Risk and Compliance Management
- Responsible for the coordination and maintenance of quality risk management in line with regulatory requirements

Financial Management
- Provide input in the planning and compilation of the annual budget aligned to the strategic delivery plans to support the implementation of set objectives
- Ensure the effective implementation, management, monitoring of the budget and mitigate and report on any variances

People Management
- Proactively manage all direct reports in order to ensure that the strategic objectives for the division is met
- Maintain excellent human capital performance through employee empowerment, skills development and retention and succession planning within the team
- Be the change champion for all Strategic Sourcing-wide change, culture and diversity projects and programmes

Stakeholder Management
- Identify and mitigate internal systems and procedural barriers to enhance excellent customer service
- Represent and participate in the organisation's committees and tasks teams when required
- Provide technical support and advocacy on Strategic Sourcing related matters to the organisation

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma + Advanced Diploma/ B Degree in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management or relevant field
- Membership to a professional Supply Chain Management body e.g. CIPS (preferred)
- 10 years' relevant work experience within Supply Chain Management
- 3 years' management experience
- Proven track record in managing multiple high impact high-value sourcing initiatives concurrently
