MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
**This position is accountable for operating equipment that mixes/grinds liquids and other materials used to manufacture paint and coatings. The Manufacturing Technician directly impacts the quality and quantity of product produced.**

CORE ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Feed raw materials into production machinery.
- Operate production machinery
- Assemble goods on production lines.
- Monitor the production process.
- Fill and seal Paints
- Carry out basic quality and testing checks.
- Remove, pack and sort materials
- Clean the area and remove production waste in accordance with disposal and recycling policies
- Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks to fulfill orders - for employees with forklift license

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- A Matric qualification or 2 years’ experience in a paint production environment.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

- Good tinting and colour matching skills.
- Excellent colour vision to enable best tinting and colour matching.
