Production Worker Batch Prep

The role of the Batch Prepper is to prepare batches (picking&weighing of powders, liquids and any other chemicals required for a batch) according to the issued batch card. This also includes receiving stock from suppliers, taking samples for testing, General housekeeping, taking fully prepared batches to production, driving forklift and batch prep related equipment. Batch prepper must consistently achieve batch prep requirements, as well as ensure that quality and safety related standards are maintained.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Pick and weigh RM for production batches
- Operate the forklift machine
- Receive stock
- Taking samples for lab testing
- Cycle counts
- Stock takes
- General housekeeping
- And any other reasonable instruction to be issued by immediate supervisor/manager

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Matric
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- Mathematic literate.
- One year of experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating weighing scales, forklift machines,
- Experience monitoring the quality of raw materials or finished goods
- Experience with material-handling equipment
