Analyzing stock depletion qty’s on new product introductions
Understand stock situation - optimize min stock levels on PCBAs.
**Areas of Responsibility / Tasks**:
**Forecast and MRP**:
- Preparation of the forecast by collating inputs from Sales team
- Analysis and presentation of the forecast for review
- Order lead time communication to commercial per order received.
- Track and monitor forecast accuracy and trends month to month,
- Review and make recommendations for the continual improvement of the forecast mechanism.
- Forecast input to SAP MRP:
- Update MRP on a real time basis as per the changing forecast.
- Update MRP weekly based on order intake.
- Update MRP based on special inventory decisions.
- Validation of SAP demand,
- Update MRP based on special inventory decisions,
- Monitor accurate consumption of the forecast, Alignment of forecast with Rolling+ (V100; V200)
- Continual analysis of the Forecast à MRP à Procurement à Production scheduling cycle to improve productivity and control inventory at optimum levels.
- Statistical analysis and reporting on strategic areas of importance within with above cycle to facilitate a focus on continuous improvement.
- Communicate changes and implications to the relevant functions.
- Recommend and project manage enhancements to the MRP system.
**Production Planning**:
- Weekly planning of turnover projection for the month in consultation with production and supply chain (coordination of meetings with stakeholders)
- Preparation and distribution of SNOP report weekly.
- Central point of contact for promised delivery date to be communicated to customer at time of order loading.
- Track and report on OTD (on time delivery), CSDS (Customer Specific Data Set) file checking and loading for pre-payment meter production.
**SAP**:
- master data management for new material generation.
- SAP BOM generation and maintenance
**Inventory (Working Capital) Management**:
- Drive/participate in initiatives to improve MRP and the SAP master Data system to optimize Working Capital
- Monitoring obsolete stock
- Product phase out and end of life; stock aging; safety stock levels
**PROJECT MANAGEMENT**:
- Recommend and project manage enhancements to the material management system (SAP)
- Work in close conjunction with Project Management and Product Management on the introduction of new products and phase out of old products (BOM definition, loading of new materials and associated master data)
- Involvement in strategic operational projects as required.
**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**
- Previous experience in a similar role/environment is essential.
- 5+ Years Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Relevant degree or diploma
- Experience in Project leadership.
- Leadership Experience
- Experience in team leadership.
- Intercultural Experience
