We are on the hunt for a **Junior Project Manager** from the IT Sector who has the ability to take charge and lead IT projects

**Key Responsibilities include** _(not limited to)_:
Ø Creating and maintaining detailed project plans and other project documentation;
Ø Collaborating across various teams throughout the project life cycle;
Ø Monitoring and reporting on project progress.

Ø The Junior Project Manager will work independently on small, low complexity change initiatives and will support the Project Director on larger, more complex projects.

**The Junior Project manager will be provided with guidance and support in completing assigned work which includes**:
1) Managing low-complexity change initiatives and projects from start-up through to closure;
2) Leading on and supporting project strands as designated by Project Director;
3) Contributing to the development and management of comprehensive project plans;
4) Monitoring, collating and analyzing data and information for reporting on PMO project status;
5) Working with Project Managers in creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation;
6) Assisting Project Managers in identifying and reporting project risks, issues and dependencies;
7) Supporting and proactively undertaking stakeholder engagement;
8) Supporting and taking an active role in project post implementation reviews;
9) Contributing to the ongoing development of project management tools and templates

10) Flexibility required to meet specific deadlines or to support critical incident

11) May be a requirement to work outside normal hours, either to attend appointments/meeting

12) Attending staff training sessions

**Assisting Project Director with all aspects of project governance, administration and reporting, including**:
1) Monitoring budgets;
2) Monitoring progress against project timeframes, bringing potential delays to the attention of Project Director;
3) Supporting and taking an active role in Project Board meetings;
1) Enjoys working in the ICT sector;
2) Not afraid to push boundaries and limit(s) to ensure that deadlines are met;
3) Thinks out of the box and takes initiative;
4) Confident in working independently and part of a team;
5) Able to work without supervision and is results driven;
1) Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Project Management (minimum);
2) Proven communication skills in English (written and spoken);
3) Articulate in speech;
4) A minimum of 3 - 4 years’ experience in Project Management within the IT sector;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month
