**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER**

**Job Summary**

The Junior Project Manager coordinates project management duties. The JPM coordinates internal and external resources and/or vendors for the flawless execution of projects. The JPM oversees and performs administrative functions concerned with a project. This may include calling clients, partners, and vendors; making appointments, doing site visits and preparing reports.

The JPM is skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects he/she oversees. The JPM thrives when planning projects and working with project teams. The goal is to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

**Requirements**:

- Formal qualification in Project Management
- Minimum 5 years experience in Project Management
- Must have a reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Recommend best practice
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Manage changes in the project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Organise meetings, create agenda, take minutes
- Creating PowerPoint presentations
- Perform administrative duties when necessary
- Cost collation for invoicing
- Keeping an updated on compliance regulations
- Issues and problem management which may arise
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle

**Comments**:
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
