**The Role** Purpose**:
The purpose of a Workshop Controller in logistics is to oversee and coordinate the operations of a workshop or maintenance facility, ensuring that all vehicles, equipment, and machinery critical to the logistics operations are maintained and serviced effectively.

**Duties**:
**Coordination and Scheduling**:

- Notify operations of vehicle service needs.
- Verify vehicle mileage (KM) and schedule maintenance accordingly.
- Create and update job cards for vehicle maintenance.

**Stakeholder Management**:

- Oversee coordination and scheduling of major repairs (e.g., gearboxes, warranties).

**Reporting**:

- Provide daily progress reports regarding breakdown repairs, completed services, and overtime hours on repairs

**Skills and Experience** JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12
- MS Microsoft Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- 1 - 2 years’ experience as an Administrator or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- Understanding of logistics operations and maintenance schedules

**Other**
- Advanced Excel skills for tracking, reporting, and scheduling
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage priorities effectively
- Problem-solving and proactive issue management
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work under pressure and manage stress
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
- Time management and efficiency
