**Requirements**:

- Trade / Diploma/Certification / in the process of completing: electronics, instrumentation, electrical engineering, or related.
- Experience working with hand-tools (at home or in a workshop).
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with stock management and inventory control processes would be beneficial.
- Basic understanding of instrumentation and electronic components.
- A valid driving license.
- Own transport would be an advantage.
- Currently residing in the Johannesburg area.

**Duties**:

- Extensive workshop testing.
- Extensive quality assurance testing.
- Stock management.
- Basic repairs to technology where possible.
- Documenting standard operating procedures
- Creating and amending data capture forms.
- Completing all site and workshop documentation.
- Updating databases.
- Liaison with suppliers on issues arising and repairs.
- Field testing.
- Providing information to the sales department on technical queries.
- Maintaining internal tracking documents.
- Order preparation.

- Ability to complete and manage workshop and operations documentation efficiently.
- Meticulous in maintaining the highest standards of quality control.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in stock management and internal tracking.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for documenting procedures and collaborating with team members.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Knowledge of Afrikaans is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards in the workshop environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in troubleshooting technical issues.
- Creative with excellent problem-solving abilities (this will be tested in the interview).
- Systematic, methodical, logical, and analytical.
- A demonstrable interest in technology.
- Ability to develop appropriate and effective methodologies from specific objectives.
- Self-motivated with the ability to plan and manage one's own work schedule and time management.
- Organised and meticulous with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised for extended periods.
