Automation Control Solutions represents Emerson Automation Solutions, in Southern and Eastern Africa.

Manage and take responsibility for ACS specialised projects according to company/customer requirements and specifications. Within the ACS Process Systems Solutions (PSS) Division the requirement will be to deliver projects on time and within scope and budget.

**Minimum Requirements**:
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Grade 12
- Tertiary Education - Project Management & Technical Qualification
- Financial Business qualification would be advantageous

EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience (Work that has prepared you for this job)
- Minimum 2 years technical, systems-related experience
- MS Office experience (Word, Excel, Power-point)
- MS Projects Experience
- Driver’s license - Code EB

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

- Knowledge of product and systems for accurate project forecasting
- Resource allocation and management
- Milestone reporting with defined deliverables at each stage of a project.
- Manage own outputs and outputs of others in the business
- Outstanding people skills - verbal and written communications skills

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

- Resource, Budget, and Progress Management: Efficiently plan and allocate project resources, manage budgets, and monitor progress while ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders.
- Stakeholder and Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and manage customer expectations proactively within the defined project scope.
- Project Planning and Financial Management: Develop project programs using MS Project and create cash flow schedules using MS Excel for proposals, ensuring project delivery meets or exceeds proposed margins.
- Scope and Variation Management: Oversee project scope and effectively manage changes through approved Variation Orders to maintain control over additional project work.
- Team Coordination and PMBOK Compliance: Support the Engineering Manager in guiding team members to meet deliverables, coordinate project scheduling, and manage projects according to PMBOK specifications.
- Equipment and Invoicing Oversight: Handle equipment orders, track status for customer reports, monitor inspection and control of equipment and manage project variations, invoicing, and deliveries efficiently.
