**Project Manager - Specialized Services**

A vacancy exists for a Projects Manager, based in Gauteng. The position will report to the General Manager - Specialised Services. The main purpose of the position is to ensure the direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of all projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization. Ensuring that site-specific security requirements of the Client are adhered to and that the Client’s needs are efficiently and professionally met at all times.

**Qualifications, experience and other competencies required**:

- Matric certificate with Grade A/B PSIRA registration and Accreditation. Relevant Business Diploma
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Security Operations Management in a Senior Role.
- Military background a bonus.
- No criminal record or any pending cases.
- Firearm Competency for all firearms for business purposes.
- Strong knowledge of the firearms control act.
- A valid unendorsed driver’s license with own reliable transport and willing to use for business purposes (Fuel will be allocated).
- Previous Project Management and Contract Role Out experience required.
- Billing experience and budget management experience required.
- Very analytical individual with excellent Problem-Solving Skills.
- Ability to manage and discipline staff.
- Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Strong Operational Planning, Leadership and Organizational Skills as well as good Interpersonal Communication and Client Liaison Skills are essential.
- Must be able to work under pressure and for extended hours as and when required.
- Must be flexible to meet tight reporting deadlines on short notice.
- Must be able to do Training if and when required.
- Must have very good Investigating skills and experience in conducting investigations and audits.
- Must be able to travel Nationally, although the position will be required for you to be based in Gauteng.

**Job Specification**
- Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the Clients with regard to project implementation, security services rendered and meeting strict deadlines.
- Effectively communicate to project teams, Business and client on project status - continuously on agreed project template.
- Constantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the Clients regarding the improvement of services and introducing new technologies and solutions.
- Ensuring continuous assessment of the Client’s premises and minimizing as far as possible risky access and creating several barriers to would be criminals.
- General management and supervision of security staff and ensuring that all their queries are dealt with promptly.
- Liaising daily with Senior Management and relevant Departments to resolve operational matters.
- Submitting relevant monthly/weekly/daily reports to the Client and Management.
- Training of Security Staff and Management - Client procedures and systems.
- Ensuring that all client Site Specific requirements/Contractual requirements and Training on staff is completed before project/contract role out as stipulated by the client.
- Ensuring that all equipment and vehicle requirements by client is as per contractual agreement before start date of the contract.
- Attending regular meetings with the Client and Senior Management.
- Conducting Investigations and reporting on such.
- Oversee recruitment processes and training of employees to ensure that all staff employed are fully vetted, screened and fully trained as the contractual requirements.
- Oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the respective business area.
- The formulating of overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies and procedures.
- Ensuring growth, thrive and profit rising.
- Training lower level managers and staff. Ensuring subordinates are in line with company policies and procedures.
- Evaluate and improve, performance and productivity of all employed staff.
- Ensure compliance with regulated legislation and acts.
- MANCO requirements feedback.
