**Sales Representative**

Are you a driven **Sales Representative** who is successful with bringing in new business within the construction and building industry sector?

Our client supplies and delivers all types of construction materials to the construction, civil engineering, farming, building industry and golf courses in the greater Cape Town and Winelands area. They also offer plant hire and earthmoving services.

**Basic responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Conduct regular market research of your sales area and report accordingly.
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
- Report to the Managing Director.
- Present and sell company products and services to potential clients.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets.
- Phoning and making appointments with a wide network of new clients.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Closing of sales successfully.
- Manage quotations.
- Follow-up for collection of payment.

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Valid Driver’s License
- At least 3 years of sales experience is essential or longer-term sales/marketing experience.
- Excellent customer service
- Strong communication, negotiation & presentation skills.
- Computer literate; Willing to learn; Good attitude; Neat presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure as needed.
- Detail-oriented, strong organisational skills, and a high degree of accuracy.
- Experience in construction and or civils would be beneficial.

**Salary: Basic plus commission, dependent on experience.
