We are looking for a Referral coordinator at veterinary specialist centre to join our team.

We are a specialist 24-hour veterinary hospital and referral centre.
- What is a referral hospital?_
- Vets from around the country refer patient cases to us to seek specialist advice from our highly skilled specialist surgeons._

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the referral process, receiving and reviewing requests and verifying patient eligibility to provide appropriate clinical information to specialists.
- Assisting referring veterinarians with any aspect of the referral process
- Providing cost estimates to clients and referring veterinarians
- Assisting with patient follow-up care and advice
- Expediting patient referrals to specialty departments
- Liaise with insurance companies to ensure prior approval requirements are met and assist clients with the claims process.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate necessary tests or procedures with specific reference to scheduling advanced imaging such as MRI or CT off site.
- Maintain accurate and up to date referral records and documentation.

Experience as a receptionist in a veterinary environment is preferred. This is a full-time position.
