**Accounts Payable Clerk**

**Job title**:Accounts Payable Clerk

**Location**:Country Office South Africa (based in Cape Town)

**Reports to**:Accounts Payable Manager

**Contract**:Permanent

**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
The Accounts Payable Clerk will support the business by ensuring all invoices received are processed in accordance with company policy, accurately and in a timely manner to ensure timely payments to suppliers.

The main missions will be as follows:

- To process all invoices speedily and accurately on the financial system
- To match all invoices, purchase orders and statement for reconciliation of accounts payable and resolve queries within the allocated timeframe.
- Reconciliations from the supplier statement to the supplier account and GRNi.
- Responding to stakeholder queries on payment of invoices and general queries.
- To ensure efficient record keeping and adherence to the relevant legislative requirements and the entity’s policies and procedures.
- Ad-hoc tasks as & when required.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum a diploma in Accounting or similar.
- 3 - 5 years experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Previous experience in the automotive sector will be advantageous.
- Strong reconciliation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving-skills.
- Strong customer satisfaction orientation.
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook.
- Experienced in using SAP and VIM.
