**JOB TITLE**

**Accounts Clerk**

**Reports to Financial Manager**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Ensure that all company policies, procedures & SOPS are adhered to
- Administration Tasks of the Finance Department for both Hotel and Restaurant
- Daily / weekly / monthly Banking & Cash-Ups, maintaining the full control of Banking for Hotel and Restaurant Company
- Daily / weekly / monthly Credit Card Checks and Reconciliations, maintaining the full control of Credit Card Recons for Hotel and Restaurant Company
- Monitoring of house accounts, negative postings, guest ledger Daily, weekly, and monthly
- Process all supplier invoices on Sage Evolution 200 for Hotel and Xero for Restaurant, and prepare monthly creditors recons while maintaining the full creditors control function for both Hotel and Restaurant Company
- Continuous Investigations of AP, Banking, Credit Card and follow through until queries are resolved, ensuring AP balances and any unusual activities/balances reported
- Cashbook Processing for Hotel and Restaurant as well as reconciliations and supplier payment allocations
- Implementing and Reporting on Internal Control, rolling out of SOPs for Finance related control items and actively auditing Operation Finance
- Oversee internal and unit level debtors and 3rd party accounts while ensuring the collection and allocation of related payments
- Guest Ledger and Open Balance Report audits and close monitoring
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties relating to the procurement, finance and HR functions that may be required from time to time

Core Competencies
- Sage Evolution 200 and Xero Software experience
- Tertiary education in finance or accounting
- Excel, intermediate skills
- Experience working on Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Outlook, etc.
- Knowledge of time & attendance and payroll reporting systems
- Attention to detail

- Act in good faith & in the best interest of the company
- Presentable and well-spoken
