**Job Description:Floor Assistant - Health on Point Pharmacy**

**Location**: Cape Town

**Job Type**: Temporary Contract (2-3 Months)
**Department**: Retail Operations
**Reports to**: Line Manager - Fale

**About the Role**

**Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales Support**
- Provide professional customer service and product assistance.
- Direct customers to products and escalate queries when required.
- Assist with store enquiries and ensure an excellent in-store experience.

**Floor & Operational Support**
- Maintain an organised and presentable store floor.
- Assist with stock replenishment, merchandising, and product display.
- Ensure store areas are neat, tidy, and fully stocked.

**Stock & Inventory Handling**
- Assist with receiving stock, unpacking, labelling, and organizing shelves.
- Support inventory control and stock movement procedures.
- Participate in stock counting, recording, and variance reporting.
- Handle expired, damaged, or returned items as per policy.

**Cash Handling (Where Applicable)**
- Assist with cash transactions if assigned.
- Follow all company cash handling and till procedures.

**Housekeeping & Store Maintenance**
- Conduct cleaning and housekeeping responsibilities on the shop floor and storage areas.
- Maintain compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.

**Administration & Reporting**
- Assist with basic administrative tasks and daily operational checklists.
- Complete and maintain accurate records when allocated tasks.
- Support management with operational duties and reporting.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Matric or equivalent.
- Experience in customer service or retail environment is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of till operations and/or stock handling is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends, shifts, and operational hours.
