The Role: Floor Leader V&A Waterfront This role exists to support the Store Manager in leading daily operations, driving sales performance, and ensuring a world-class customer experience in a high-footfall location. You will help guide and motivate the team, maintain store standards, and contribute to building a cohesive, high-performing retail environment. Your leadership will play a key role in meeting targets, improving efficiencies, and ensuring the store runs smoothly at all times. Key Responsibilities Bring 2 to 3 years of retail experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or key holder role Support the Store Manager with daily operations and team coordination Assist with staff scheduling, floor rotations, and performance follow-ups Drive sales performance by motivating the team and monitoring KPIs Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and feedback to staff Maintain visual merchandising standards and overall store presentation Handle escalated customer queries with professionalism and a solution-driven mindset Support stock management, shrinkage control, and accurate stock counts Ensure compliance with store policies, procedures, and loss-prevention requirements Assist with opening/closing duties, cash-ups, and daily operational checklists About You 2 to 3 years retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory, key holder, or senior sales role Experience in high-footfall retail environments (shopping centres or destination stores beneficial) Proven ability to drive sales and contribute to store KPI achievement Strong leadership capability with a passion for motivating and developing teams Excellent communication and customer service skills Calm, solution-focused approach when handling escalations Highly organised, reliable, and comfortable with shifts, weekends, and public holidays Strong attention to detail with a passion for maintaining high standards Energetic, hands-on, and eager to progress into more senior retail leadership opportunities
