**Job Purpose**

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure alignment and achievement of strategy and create a completive advantage by translating the Nedbank and Business Unit strategy into a customised Divisional strategy.
- Leverage opportunities to create a competitive function and a commercially successful function by understanding competitor activity and acting on it
- Establish and drive the business strategy of the function by ensuring the alignment to GT strategy and the forwarding of Nedbank Ltd strategic intent
- Ensure project execution of the end-to-end life cycle of all portfolio programmes and projects relating to the implementation of IT projects according to the project methodology and strategy
- Facilitate 3-year GT strategic plan (including the Architecture roadmaps) through aligning it with each Business Unit including the identification, prioritisation, funding approval and benefit realisation
- IT Development programmes, projects and new or enhanced service offerings
- Deliver customer value from alignment with business need by ensuring customer service portfolio is optimal and transparently presented
- Ensure decisions are made in the best interest of the business by raising awareness of delivery and governance controls with each client set.
- Ensure alignment to governance and compliance requirements through establishing and managing appropriate risk practice
- Drive effective and efficient service or product delivery by ensuring effective tactical processes and workflows are in place
- Take responsibility for implementation of programme and project governance that aligns to project methodologies, processes and project disciplines.
- Develop and implement a strategy to build a differentiated culture by analysing relevant surveys and information

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Master’s Degree

Essential Certifications
- Formal certification from relevant professional bodies
- SMP or equivalent MBA or equivalent
