**:**_Key Responsibilities:_**

**- **Plan and facilitate a variety of age-appropriate activities for children and teenagers, including games, arts and crafts, sports, and educational programs**

**- **Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, following all company policies and procedures**

**- **Build positive relationships with both children and their parents, promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment**

**- **Assist with the organization and execution of special events and themed parties for children and families**

**- **Maintain a clean and organized youth area, ensuring all toys and equipment are in good condition**

**- **Collaborate with other Youth Staff and shipboard departments to create a cohesive and seamless experience for guests**

**- **Attend mandatory trainings and meetings, staying up-to-date with all company policies and procedures**

**- **Act as a role model for children, promoting good behavior and enforcing discipline when necessary**

**- **Communicate effectively with parents and shipboard management, providing updates on activities and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise**

**- **Participate in emergency drills and procedures as required by the ship's safety protocols**

**_ Requirements:_**

**- **High school diploma or equivalent, some college education in a related field preferred**

**- **Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting**

**- **CPR and First Aid certification**

**- **Strong communication and interpersonal skills**

**- **Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment**

**- **Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed**

**- **Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus**

**- **Must pass a background check and drug test**

**- **Previous cruise ship experience is a plus**
