The Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that educates students across multiple disciplines, including Accounting, Finance, Management and Entrepreneurship, Economics, Industrial Psychology (Human Resources Management), Information Systems, Institute for Poverty, Land and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS), Institute for Social Development, Political Studies, School of Government and the Academic Literacies Programme.
- Facilitate learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Management and its related sub-fields (such as supply chain management and financial management) and/ or Entrepreneurship
- Conduct research and publish in Management and/or Entrepreneurship
- Undertake undergraduate and postgraduate supervision
- Provide academic and institutional leadership and administration
- Undertake curriculum development and assessment
- Undertake community engagement and outreach
- Ability to work across disciplines and functional boundaries
- Assist with the development of the department’s in-house academic journal
- Engage with external stakeholders to provide training and development programmes in the areas of Management and/ or Entrepreneurship

**Minimum Requirements**
- Doctoral qualification (i.e., PhD, D. Tech, DBA) or equivalent in Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration or Cognate discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating learning and teaching in the field of Management and/or Entrepreneurship and/or related fields such as Supply chain management and Financial management
- A record of quality peer-reviewed publications, preferably in Management and/or Entrepreneurship.
- A record of successful postgraduate supervision
- The integration of community engagement with learning and teaching and/or research
- Evidence of expertise, national standing, and preferably an international presence in his/her discipline.
