Facilitate learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the SRES department.
- Conduct research and publish in the field of Sport Sciences/Biokinetics.
- Undertake undergraduate and postgraduate supervision.
- Undertake curriculum development and assessment.
- Undertake community engagement and outreach.
- Provide academic leadership.

**Minimum Requirements**

**At the level of Associate Professor**
- PHD or equivalent, in Sport Sciences or Biokinetics
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating learning, in the field of Sport Sciences or Biokinetics.
- A track record of quality peer reviewed publications in the field of Sports Sciences or Biokinetics.
- A record of successful Masters supervision and evidence of at least current PhD supervision.
- Evidence of involvement in community engagement and its integration into learning and teaching and/or research.
- Evidence of expertise, national standing, and where appropriate, an international presence in his/her discipline.
- At least five (5) years’ experience in a higher education institution.

**At the level of Professor**
- PhD or equivalent, in Sport Sciences or Biokinetics
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating learning, in the field of Sport Sciences or Biokinetics.
- A track record of quality peer reviewed publications in the field of Sports Sciences or Biokinetics.
- A record of successful postgraduate supervision (at both Masters and PhD levels).
- Evidence of expertise, national standing, and definite international presence in his/her discipline.
- Experience in generating research grants.
- More than five (5) years’ experience in a higher education institution and evidence of leadership experience
