Claims Administrator

Receiving and process technology-based claims from inception to repair or pay out status.
- To engage with external customers with regards to tracking and processing of insurance claims and other related administration, in accordance with policy wording rules and compliance modelling.
- Receive and respond to incoming internal and external calls in a professional and efficient manner.
- Investigate claims by contacting the relevant client to obtain outstanding information and/or documentation to assess the claim.
- Assess claims to determine whether the device on which the claim is based, will be repaired or replaced.
- Process active claims timeously.
- _**Approved Replacement claims**_: Arrange excess collection and discuss replacement options with client and arrange replacement with Admin Ops team.
- _**Approved Repair Claims**_: Arrange excess collection and collection from client by courier. Device sent to repairer.
- Arrange payment of excess from client.
- Follow up on pending claims (excess, outstanding information etc).
- Uploading on documentation onto the system.
- Attend to allocated customer queries and dealing with business partners efficiently and effectively to uphold a professional Company image.

- Successfully passed Grade 12 mathematics.
- Insurance Claims experience.
- FET Certificate in Short Term Insurance - NQF 4 with 150 credits
- Experience working in an inbound Call Centre environment.
- Strong Administration skills.
