Senior Project Manager

An exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in championing our new customer product modifications and feature updates You will be working with a dynamic and highly skilled cross functional team and reporting to the Global Director, Project Management Office. We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of project management and agile practices. The role is expected to provide leadership in a matrix environment to promote best practices in managing interrelated projects and programmes to ensure successful software delivery Amongst many other exciting duties, you will be expected to deliver on the following: **What you're going to do** - Perform PMP type project management tasks. - Guiding the team on how to use Agile/Scrum/Kanban practices and values. - Guiding the team on how to self-organize and plan work into enabling features and stories along program increments and sprints. - Assessing the degree of scrum maturity and coaching the team to higher levels, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization. - Removing impediments and guiding the team to remove impediments. - Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving. - Facilitating a culture of getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work. - Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. - Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information. - Supporting and educating the Agile Project Management Lead, especially on grooming and maintaining the backlog. - Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example. - Understand the complexities of both Agile and Waterfall software development lifecycles, flexing into either approach to properly align deliverables and milestone with the business - Flex and serve as a Scrum Master when needed - Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. - Other appropriate and agreed responsibilities. **What we ask** - Bachelor’s degree qualified in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field ideal - Proven experience leading multiple priorities of significant scope in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and cross-functional teams and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met - High degree of customer obsession, initiative and capacity to lead multiple priorities of significant scope in a fast-paced environment with expertise in driving an open and inclusive culture, instilling accountability for best-in-class customer service and fostering innovative thinking - Demonstrated understanding of backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into business requirements - Experience or knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and DevOps practices preferred - Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools - Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level - Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big picture view - Scrum Master certification preferred - SAFe, PMI-ACP, CSM, PMP, or equivalent preferred **Company Information** Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS) is the market leader in developing and delivering fully integrated business management solutions for distributors, suppliers, resellers, wholesalers and merchants.
