Job Details Job Title: Senior Project Manager Term: 12 months Location: Johannesburg, South Africa Division: Cards Reports to: TBC Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities Manage projects, typically involving the development and implementation of business processes. Recognise business needs and acquire the necessary resources and skills within cost, timescale and quality parameters. Apply high standards of project and programme governance consistently across all project phases. Coordinate relationships with key stakeholders during design, management and implementation of business change. Support teams in problem identification and decision-making. Knowledge and Experience At least 8 years of experience implementing complex projects in Digital banking and Banking Schemes Management. Previous project and change management skills and expertise. Experience managing all stages of a project lifecycle using current technology, structured methods and quality processes (e.g., PMP, Prince2). Exposure to governance, control and risk management. Ability to negotiate and influence at senior level. Mandatory Skills Previous experience within Banking, Payment & Card solutions or the FinTech industry. Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies (SAFe, Agile, Scrum). Project management experience in a complex financial services environment, banking preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills Bachelor’s degree in project management or commerce. Appropriate professional accreditation in programme or project management (Agile, Prince2, PMBOK).
