**PURPOSE**

The main purpose of the Senior Project Manager is to provide for the overall planning, management and completion of projects and/or programs on a wide variety of Business Units, Programs and Portfolios according to accepted BankservAfrica policies and standards, in support of BankservAfrica business and product strategies

**You will engage with the following stakeholders**:

- Banks and Banking Council
- Regulators (SARB and PASA)
- BankservAfrica client Organisations and Retailers
- Management, Executive Management, Business Unit, Product Owners, IT Managers and staff

**Key role responsibilities include**:

- Design, develop and monitor schedules and budgets for assigned projects/programs
- Work with customers to develop project scope of work documents, project and program management plans and schedules
- Manage the project/program, which includes development lifecyles, identifying resources, training, deliverables and reporting structures
- Identify the approach to be used on a given project/program
- Implement and control project/program change management process
- Overall control, management and reporting on project/program status, costs, issues and risks

**QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE**
- Tertiary Qualification (NQF 7)
- Project Management Qualification / PMP certification
- Knowledge of Agile Project Development
- Required computer literacy levels in the MS Office suite and applicable Project Management Applications

**EXPERIENCE**
- Experience in ICT Application development
- Minimum 5 - 10 years’ experience in Project and Programme management
- Experience in Payments and Banking industry will be an advantage
