**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Overall purpose of the Position**:
The purpose of the Night Audit Department is to welcome guests on arrival, assist with all guests’ needs, have guests enjoy a safe, comfortable & peaceful environment, prepare for and update the F&B Micros as well as the Front Office Opera PMS, perform credit card reconciliations, prepare a Daily Revenue Report, in the process ensuring revenues are allocated correctly, so that on departure guests are settling for all services used during their stay and handles guest service concerns during the night shift.

Responsible for reconciling daily revenue and expenses in order to ensure that guests are correctly billed and those credit card transactions are accurately recorded.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Night audit has to balance the financial accounts for the day
- Check for errors on charges in Opera/Micros and rectify through investigation
- Manage the front desk during the night shift and attend to calls
- Welcome the guests on arrival and execute the check in procedure
- Prepare departure accounts for the following day
- Carefully consolidate all charges in Opera
- Complete knowledge of the services provided by the hotel in order to answer any guest queries
- Coordinate with the Finance department of the hotel and compile reports on all transactions
- Balance all the financial accounts at month end
- Manage all venue access keys and employees during night time
