**NIGHT AUDITOR**

Asara Wine Estate and Hotel situated in scenic Stellenbosch Winelands has the above position available.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Working (mainly) night shift at Reception, but must be flexible to fill in other shifts when required
- Friendly attitude and able to work as part of a team
- Promote a culture of excellence in guest care
- Carry out inspections with regards to guest service delivery
- Create and maintain excellent guest relationships
- Take handover from Day reception duties and follow up
- Follow up on late arrivals, guest special requests etc.
- Coordinate cash-ups of bar and other business units after closing hours
- Prepare a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's financial performance for the day
- Regular checks are made on Hotel floors and Hotel premises through a physical walk-around
- The switchboard function is taken over at night
- Ensuring that outstanding charges are posted to room accounts
- Manage room administration

**Skills needed**
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Excellent command of English, additional international foreign language advantageous
- Leadership skills
- Hotel Front desk experience is a must
- Computer literate is critical
- Must know basic knowledge of how to use and create documents and Excel spreadsheets
- Reliable transport of your own
- Experience in hotel software (Protel / EasiPos) and Microsoft Office
- Detail-orientated & accurate
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Calm under pressure

**Qualifications and Experience**

Diploma in Hospitality
