Night Auditor

Job Summary:
This position requires a energetic and proactive, task-focused, detail-orientated leader who can work at a predictable and constant pace in a structured environment, to assist with the Hotel operation at night.

Organisational Positioning:
Department: Front Office

Reporting to: Night Manager

Location: The Twelve Apostles Hotel Premises

Minimum Experience and Qualification Required:
Must have at least 2 years Night Audit experience in a 4/5* Hotel

Qualification in Hotel or Front Office Management advantageous

Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel

Experience at operator level of Property Management System - exposure to Opera and Micros advantageous

Highly presentable

Solid English verbal and written communication skillsFluent with hospitality language and terminology

Exposure and understanding of hotel financials

Experience in Service Recovery

Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays

Advantageous Experience and Qualification Desired:

When carrying out night audit duties:

- To take ownership, responsibility and control of the Hotel operation at night ensuring that the night audit process is completed and that communications with all departments in regards to guest services are maintained with a emphasis on heath and safety
- Take responsibility and control of all night-time administrative duties ensuring accuracy and precision in accordance with Hotel SOP
- Take responsibility for the safety and security of the Hotel, its staff, guests and property by being visible and vigilant at all times
- To ensure that the guests enjoy a welcoming and “Yes, I can” experience throughout their stay in line with day-time service standards
- To ensure the Hotel day team are fully appraised of all relevant matters through the timely distribution of comprehensive and accurate information.
