Based on a foundation of internationally-recognised quality research, the faculty is committed to learning and teaching excellence and offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the major scientific disciplines as well as a professional degree in Pharmacy.- Facilitate learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics - Conduct research and publish on topics related to Statistics/Mathematical Statistics - Undertake undergraduate and/or postgraduate supervision - Provide academic leadership and contribute to administration - Undertake curriculum development and assessment - Participate in community/industry engagement and outreach- **Minimum Requirements**- - Masters in Statistics or Mathematical Statistics and registrered for a PhD with a clear plan for completion - Experience in teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate, in the field of Statistics - A record of successful postgraduate supervision at the honours - A record of quality peer reviewed publications, in the field of Statistics, Applied Statistics or proof of peer reviewed technical reports submitted in industry- **Competencies**: - Adaptability and the ability to operate in a diverse environment - Student focused approach - Planning and organising skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English - Presentation and facilitation skills - Computer literacy and e-leaning skills.
