**Primary Purpose of the Job (Summary in a few lines)**
To provide an excellent reception service to Standard Bank in line with its service philosophy and values
**Education/Experience/Qualifications/Skill Requirements**
**Qualifications**:
Grade 12 or Appropriate tertiary education is preferred
**Job related work experience (career path that should ideally be followed before attaining this position)**
2 years’ frontline customer service experience and Hospitality experience.
Experience of working in customer services in a corporate environment would be an advantage
Computer literate on MS Office packages, including Outlook, Word and Excel
**Key responsibilities**:
To ensure that you are providing a world class, client facing front of house service
To ensure that all client requests and enquiries are fulfilled in the designated timeframe and exceed client expectations by ensuring that a first class service is delivered at all times
To ensure that all visitors/callers to the client site and internal clients experience excellent service upon visiting the site and when accessing your services
To be professional in visitor/client interactions at all times
To adhere to all Client First Team policies, processes standards and procedures
**Internal and external relationships**
Develop, enhance and sustain strong internal working relationships with all members of the Client First team, the Standard Bank Client Services team at Standard Bank and internal clients
**Key Tasks**
- Welcome all visitors, clients and employees to Standard Bank
- Operate a dynamic, professional meet and greet service
- Provide world class service to the client following the “Client First” ethos
- Fulfil all client requests in a professional and timely manner
- Process all visitors in line with procedures including pre-preparing passes within required timescales
- Actively seek out details of visitors in advance
- Escort visitors, where necessary, to the meeting room suites
- Maintain all statistical information and records as requested
- Manage the plants, decorations, displays and publications in the reception and waiting areas to ensure that materials/products are current
- Ensure that reception area is kept to a high standard at all times, ensuring that issues are raised promptly with the cleaning team and the Facilities Helpdesk and actioned in a timely fashion
- Respond to all visitor / client requests regardless of their nature
- Be cross-trained in all front of house tasks, so that can undertake duties of any team member as required
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times in adherence with Client First grooming standards
- Adhere to all standards, policies and procedures at all times
- Maintain excellent working relationships with all Client First Team members and management and the client team
