A competitive Fast-Food company in the Western Cape is looking for an experienced Operations Executive to lead and manage their operations

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the overall business operations strategy ensuring optimum growth and success
- Promotion of company mission, goals and values
- Formulate and recommend strategic plans and policies
- Effectively manage annual plans and budgets
- Ensure compliance with approved policies and objectives throughout all of the regions
- Plan and direct changes, staffing and reporting relationships encouraging teams to reach their targets and objectives
- Ensure that all company assets are properly maintained and managed efficiently
- Ensure that all stock, consumables and small wares are used efficiently
- Ensure that all company cash, card, and banking methods are correctly managed
- Maximize the profitability of the various areas
- Monitor profitability (using the available reports) to ensure achievement of Annual Operating Profit targets
- Ensure accurate forecasts of sales and labour
- Exceptional operational/commercial acumen and general business knowledge required through ongoing partnership with stakeholders.
- Promote positive partnerships with all departments throughout the business
- Nurture and grow critical skills in both teams and individual staff
- Growing leaders by conducting regular performance appraisals, and individual Development Plans
- Provide relevant recognition at all levels and environments
- Manage all employee relations issues in conjunction with relevant team
- Ensure the team creates and maintains a customer focused environment
- Monitor and implement programmes to improve customer experience where required
- Prompt follow up on any issues arising from customer experiences and ensure corrective action is taken
- Develop a strong sales culture, striving to consistently exceed sales targets
- Maximise sales opportunities and market development activities appropriately
- Keep Marketing team updated on competitor activity and recommend competitive strategies for implementation
- Identify and analyse trends including financial data to forecast business impact or possible opportunities
- Understand local competition and upcoming events that may affect the business
- Understand and correct team deficiencies that impact sales and transaction growth
- Evaluation of current and new products on sales and customer growth
- Continuous analysis and feedback on the effectiveness marketing activities

**Requirements**:

- Relevant Business-related Tertiary qualification
- Masters or MBA is preferred
- **MUST HAVE** a minimum of 10 years Senior Operations Management experience in a fast-paced environment (NOT Retail)
- Experience managing people and teams across Multiple stores in different geographical areas
- Highly motivated individual, with exceptional energy levels and a passion for excellence
- Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision making
- Flexible, pro-active and decisive character
- High level of Integrity and reliable
- Manage and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Coaching and mentoring mindset
- Inspiring leadership style
- Excellent communication skills, assertive, but also compassionate and empathetic
- Salary is dependent on experience, qualification and relevant industry background
