**Job Specification: Counter Sales Representative**

Location: Alberton

Position: Counter Sales Representative

Reports to: Branch Manager / Sales Manager

**Company Overview**:
The Security Team is a leading supplier of cutting-edge security systems, offering a wide range of products including CCTV systems, access control, alarm systems, and other electronic security solutions. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist walk-in customers at the sales counter with product information, quotations, and technical advice.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate security solutions.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and orders.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and stay informed about new technologies and solutions.
- Support in merchandising and maintaining the showroom or sales area.
- Manage stock levels and coordinate with warehouse staff when required.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assist with general administrative tasks related to sales.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in counter sales, preferably in security systems or technical products.
- Good understanding of security products (CCTV, alarms, access control) will be an advantage.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical aptitude and the ability to explain product features clearly.
- Proficient in MS Office and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated.
