**Supervisor**

overseer whose main responsibility is to ensure that a group of subordinates get out the assigned and they performing effectively and satisfied in their role

**Duties and Responsibilities are but not limited to**

a)Proactive daily planning of tasks that takes into account:

- Co-ordinate with Controllers to plan trucks for shift
- Ensure all resources are available for Admin requirements

(tablet is charged, phone is charged, there is enough data)
- Ensure all Risk management templates are ready (i.e.

SHEQ requirements)

b) Performance & control
- Closely oversee and manage the loading of all trucks at loading

point, ensuring clients requirements are met
- Proactively identify and manage issues and problems, and

resolve them so that they don’t impact on targets and deadlines
- Treat any breakdowns and/or incidents as critical and do

everything in your power to ensure the issue gets resolved as

soon as possible
- Daily reporting progress report per daily plan and submittals

c) SHEQ implementation
- Ensure all daily SHEQ activities are completed for all trucks:

- Pre-start inspections
- Tool box talks
- Risk assessments
- Fatigue management of staff
- Other inspections / audits, where required
- Promote a culture of SAFETY FIRST
- Fully participate in the investigation and resolution of any incidents and/or accidents
- All SHEQ paperwork upto date
- Ensure all paperwork is collected and submitted to Admin

department, as required:

- PODs, collection and delivery notes
- All SHEQ checklists and forms
- All diesel slips, where required
- Staff timesheets, where applicable
- Make sure all paperwork is complete fully, has the correct

details and signatures where required
- Detailed and accurate capturing onto eLogic of ALL loads

All paperwork submitted on time, complete and accurate

Quality

**Requirements**:
Grade12

2-3 Supervisor Experience

Experience in mining and Logistics is an advantage

MS Office experience

Presentation

Communication and Problem solving skills

**Salary**: R4,364.03 - R16,641.36 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- transporting: 5 years (preferred)
- Coil and slab transporting: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Valid driving licence (preferred)
