The Production Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production process within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and supporting the production team to meet production targets, maintain quality standards, and adhere to safety requirements. The Production Supervisor also acts as a liaison between various departments, including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics.

**Role**:

- **Production Planning**:Assist in creating production schedules, plans, and reports to ensure efficient use of resources and meet production targets.
- **Communication**:Liaise with production team and other departments to ensure effective communication and resolve issues promptly.
- **Quality Control**:Monitor and report on quality control issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain quality records.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels, track raw materials, and manage supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
- **Safety and Compliance**:Ensure adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
- **Troubleshooting**:Identify and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and supply chain disruptions.
- **Documentation**:Maintain accurate records of production, quality, and maintenance activities.
- **Continuous Improvement**:Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives, suggest and action process improvements.

**Skills/Qualifications**
- Diploma in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, BTech will be an added advantage.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Proven organizational, work planning and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of KAIZEN or Lean manufacturing principles.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
