Matric or bookkeeping certificate

Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles

A minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role

**Inherent requirements of the position**:

- Strong attention to detail and great level of accuracy
- Strong numerical aptitude
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to cope in a highly pressurized environment
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

**Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to**:

- Ensure accurate and appropriate recording of financial transactions including petty cash and credit cards
- Ensure all invoices are captured and agreed with statements
- Capture all sales invoices on systems and send out monthly invoices and statements
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure approval received
- Prepare payment requisition and ensure approval received
- Follow up on outstanding debtors
- Capturing/processing information on accounting system and attach all accounting entries on the accounting system
- Load new suppliers and customers into accounting system
- Data and airtime allocation and record keeping of such
- Receive fleet receipts and do analysis per vehicle and agree to statement
- Update staff advances with recon and receipts
- Carry out additional duties as and when required
