**Job Purpose**:
The purpose of this position is to conduct a quality test on devices before they are deployed for installation. This process includes the physical handling of Smart POS devices, testing for financial transactions, ensuring the device has been prepared as per communicated guidelines.

All tasks/duties are to be performed within the agreed regulations & policies as set out by the business which may be amended from time to time.

The incumbent will report to the Asset Co-Ordinator.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Grade 12 (completed with Mathematics)
- Strong Microsoft Office experience
- At least 1 year experience in Asset /Transport/Supply Chain Management within the FMCG Industry

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Card transaction testing of Smart POS devices before allocating for installation.
- Quality testing of devices & providing insights on faults within the production line.
- Installation of a company’s workflow & policies on Smart POS devices.
- Daily housekeeping on allocated workstations ensuring an organized working space daily.
- Physical stock count upon request monthly.
- Ensuring the storage room is packed according to the agreed storage plan which enhances productivity & meets departmental objectives.
- Maintenance and monitoring of systems to ensure optimum usage of devices.
- Logging call for all asset related queries to IT or reporting line.
- Analysis of call logs to discover any underlying issues or trends & suggesting possible ways of dealing with these.
- Diagnosing and solving hardware or software related faults.
- Testing and evaluating new software changes.
- Following instructions, either written or in diagram form, to set up a system or fix a fault.
- Documenting all issues related to area of work & submitting to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Producing results as per agreed operating KPIs.
