**KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Payroll Analysis & Reporting Specialist**

**The Kamoa Copper Mine, is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.**

To perform accounting, cost control, financial analysis and reporting activities for the KCSA’s Payroll function. The incumbent identifies opportunities for enhanced cost controls and savings, mitigates financial risks, and drives and monitors the implementation of improvement initiatives.

**You will have the following**:
- Diploma in Finance
- 5 years' relevant Accounting experience with a focus on cost control, analytics and reporting
- Experience in the mining environment highly advantageous
- Fluent in English. French advantageous

**You will have advanced skills and knowledge in**:

- General accounting experience
- Payroll processes and procedures
- Financial policies and procedures
- DRC legislation related to payroll
- Leave, time and attendance
- Understanding / exposure to HR practices, processes, disciplines and systems
- Ms office - excel
- Financial / payroll systems (sage) HRIS and accounting software
- Accounting principles
- Cost management
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Budgeting

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform Accounting and cost control activities
- Coordinate and execute Payroll analysis
- Coordinate and execute Payroll Reporting
- Participate in Payroll continuous improvement projects and initiatives
- Monitor costs or expenses to achieve cost efficiencies and reduce waste
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
