**Operations Team Leader**

**Nature of contract - 12 Month Fixed Term**

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client located in Kraaifontein, Cape Town within the IT academic industry. The Operations Team Leader is directly responsible and accountable to the Director for the effective leadership and overall management of the College.

The Operations Team Leader is to enhance the standard of education by providing an outstanding, creative, participative, learning environment that is consistent with the core values of the institution.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provision of full information to the Director on all issues pertaining to theCollege
- Implementation of overall policies and provision of advice to the Director on Policy matters
- Direction, conduct, management, organization and tone of the College and the overall supervision of all training team, Student Success Officer and learners.
- Grow and enhance the culture of the College
- Management of staff
- Budget management
- Facilities Management
- Provision of educational leadership, planning, implementation and monitoring of the courses / programmes
- Academic, personal and social development of students
- Manage relationship with MICT Seta
- Relationship management with allocated client base
- Ensure that the College follows best practice in all matters relating to equality and diversity

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualification in Education/IT Management /Human Resources
- Proven work experience as a training manager / Principal
- ETDP Practitioner with experience will be an advantage
- MICT Seta experience advantage
- Min 5 years’ management experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage pressure
- Deadline driven
- Procedures and process driven
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to plan and organise, multi-task and manage time effectively
- Strong report writing and record keeping ability
- Good computer and database skills
- May be required to travel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: R18,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month
