Position Summary

Looking to join a growing team that embraces innovation and inspiration? Edrington is looking for a Data Analyst Team Leader to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The main role of a Data Analyst Team Leader is to support project leaders from other Edrington departments in gathering information required as input to the success of projects in the region as determined by the Managing Director for Middle East & Africa. This is mainly research analysis, gathering of raw data, analysing, and presenting it in a simplified manner and reporting it back to the project leader as input to the projects. In addition to this, the Data Analyst Team Leader will be responsible for the work allocation of the other data project analyst.
Job Description
You will be responsible for the following:

- Carry out research to provide data insights and analytics for projects to stakeholders as requested
- Under the direction of the Data Analytics Team Lead & Financial Planning and Analytics Manager, carry out commercial and financial insight information Gathering across Europe, Middle East & Africa.
- Carry out market studies and outlet segmentation including analysis and presentation of data for commercial teams
- Update dashboards and resolve issues as to ensure accurate information is promptly provided to stakeholders
- Presenting of findings in a readable format and translated to key usable findings for decision making
- Be the face of the data/project analyst team and engage with senior stakeholders
Skills and Experience
Interpersonal and leadership skills and stakeholder manager both internal and external
- Experience of using analytical and programming tools
- Experience in PowerBI will be considered an advantage
- Business development mindset
- Advanced social media skills (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- Ability to use technology in presentations
- A strong sense of ownership and pride, with the ability to work independently
- Educated to degree level is desired
- Fluency in English is required for this position
