PBT Group has an opportunity for a skilled Data Analyst.

**Duties**:

- Data Preparation
- Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
- Analyse, develop and reorganise data into a readable format to extract meaning.
- Design and maintain data systems and databases.
- Quality Assurance
- Perform quality assurance and testing of data sets and solutions before deployment.
- Guide and support the business in performing user acceptance testing.
- Collaborating with other teams
- Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and organisational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.
- Data Protection
- Conform to data protection and privacy standards and policies.
- Preparing Reports
- Utilise statistical tools to identify, analyse, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets.
- Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organise and analyse data.
- Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Troubleshooting
- Fix coding errors and other data-related problems.

**Experience**:

- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Oracle, and Python.
- Technical proficiency in database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
- Experience in handling reporting packages, Business Objects, programming such as (JavaScript, XML, or ETL frameworks), and databases.
- Advanced MS Excel data analysis proficiency.
- Adept at using data processing platforms such as AWS, Hadoop, and Apache Spark.
- Knowledge of data visualisation software Tableau, QlikView, Denodo, and PowerBI.

Qualifications/ Certification:

- A degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Business Administration / Commerce or equivalent
