Job Purpose:
Manage checking and Despatch processes

Areas of Responsibility:

- Manage and supervise box checking/staging area and despatch as well as the loading process
- Box Checking - Ensure and maintain productivity on box checking area, manage:

- Checking pace of boxes
- Checking errors
- Damages
- Manage packaging material and functional readiness of all printers and PC.

Staging - Manage the staging process with focus on the following:

- All boxes staged correctly ready for despatching
- Ensure correct despatch labels and reference numbers are on the boxes
- Maintain a productive flow of boxes to the despatch are.
- Reduce damage and internal errors.

Despatch - Manage Despatch with focus on the following:

- Ensure effective flow of boxes into despatch
- All orders must be committed and assigned on to a manifest once in despatch
- Ensure loads (local/long-haul) is prepped beforehand for loading
- Time sensitive controls are maintained and in place for the loading of all vehicles
- Manage the loading process in conjunction with the Despatch clerk.

Maintain relationship between DC and stores
- Ensure open communication between yourself and other departments within Wellness Warehouse.
- address all stores issues timelessly

Managing Performance of both Checking, Staging and Despatching team members.
- Pulling of reports on a Weekly / Monthly and Quartey bases, and providing feedback on the team's performance to Management
- Manage outstanding and incomplete orders that will delay your despatch to stores, aswell as the allocation of waybills and reference numbers.

Job specifications
- Matric
- Experience in supply chain and logistics (1 - 3 years)
- Experience in same / similar role (1 year)
